Correction...there is not “the Tea Party”. There are lots of Tea Party groups and people, some large, some small. You could even say there is a Tea Party movement. Small point, but important.

Exactly. Thats the strength and genius of it. It’s a large group of individuals making an individual choice to react in a certain way.
It’s extremely uncomfortable for the Republidicans, they can’t control anything we do— because there’s no centralized authority to manipulate. And for my part, I’ll resist anybody who wants to paint me into a corner as some member of a collective. We are not controllable, and the elitist control freaks are going to find out how demoralizing it can be to fight a group like this.
I agree. The "Tea Party" is really just pissed-off private sector players (like me), having finally realized that they are the declared enemy of government.
