How do you drum up interest in a candidate that everyone says "can't win"?
The candidate I am referring to is Dale Glading who is running for Congress in New Jersey's 1st District. He is running against a "lifetime" candidate named Rob Andrews, one of the sleaziest politicians out there.
Dale Glading, 50, is the Founder and Executive Director of The Saints Prison Ministry. Headquartered in Moorestown, New Jersey, "The Saints" is the largest athletic prison ministry in the country with branch offices in Charlotte, NC, and Colorado Springs, CO.
By working to restore inmates to God and their families, The Saints save New Jersey residents hundreds of thousands of dollars every year by transforming prisoners from tax burdens to tax payers. The Saints aftercare affiliate, Lives in Transition, maintains a 5% recidivism rate compared to the national average of 75%
A lifetime resident of South Jersey, Dale earned a Bachelor of Science degree with summa cum laude honors in Community Recreation from Temple University in 1981. He served as Recreation Director at the Wiley Christian Retirement Community for 10 years before entering full-time ministry with The Saints in 1994. During his years at Wiley, Dale developed a deep empathy for seniors and an understanding of the issues that concern them most.
Dale and his wife Deanna have been married for 24 years and have three children: Bethany (22), Matthew (20) and Christopher (19). A licensed minister, Dale is also a published author, a popular editorial writer and a sought-after public speaker.
Andrews has "served" for ten terms, running for his eleventh. He was "placed" in his seat by Jim Florio, one of New Jerseys worst Governors.
Here is the sleaze and one of the main reasons why he must go.
From Wikipedia: On 2 April 2008, Andrews announced he would challenge incumbent Senator Frank Lautenberg in the 2008 Democratic primary in New Jersey. Andrews also announced that he would not seek reelection to his U.S. House district in 2008.[18] His wife, Camille Andrews stood as a candidate for his U.S. House seat instead, although she said she might withdraw in favor of another candidate chosen by the party.[19]
Andrews was beaten by Lautenberg in the Senate primary, but Camille Andrews won the Democratic primary for his seat in the House. After losing to Lautenberg, Rob Andrews decided to run for re-election to his House seat; Camille withdrew her candidacy on September 3, and Rob Andrews announced that on September 4 that he would take her place as the Democratic candidate. Despite strong public opinion to the contrary, he maintained that his wife had not been merely a placeholder candidate and said that he had only decided to run for re-election a week before he announced it; according to Andrews, his change of heart was a result of personal reflection: "I just looked deep into what I believe in and decided that this is what I had to do.
Glading is under funded and needs a lot of exposure. With the anti Øbama/Democrat sentiment as strong as it is, if there ever was a time to get rid of Andrews, this is it.
I have always wanted to SLAP that no-upper lip Andrews!! Is he GAY???
He has a wife and kids, but so did Jim McGreevy. Turnout will be light, especially for Democrats. If ever Andrews was ripe for a beating now is the time.
He’s a SMURF with a SMIRK.
