My gut tells me jveritas has some connection with the NRSC, or some other official GOP entity. Recent threads, especially some from last night, may have pushed him over the edge. In that context (if I’m correct) then I understand why he is bolting. The moronic overuse of the label “RINO” by way too many posters here makes me wince, too, but geez - - you gotta be able to skip over those idiots’ posts and focus on what smart people like me post. Evidently, jveritas couldn’t take it anymore.

I believe you have called it. That and it is very apparent that he fines the intelligence of new FReepers (Those of membership of 3 years or less) to be below the norm. Take a look at his ping # 28 on this post:

It's very clear that he considers most of us new comers to be morans (Yes I know I misspelled morons, but it's an inside joke)and that Free Republic has fallen from the once noble heights.
