Every time I see your screen name I think of this song on my husband’s play list called Scythian Empire by Andrew Bird. Totally off topic, but I thought I would share because it popped into my head. Now I never have to mention it again. Unless I forget I already told you.

Ha, no, you never mentioned it. You know why I chose Scythian? I studied Greek for two years and my Greek teacher, when he came to Scythian (as mentioned in the bible) stated that the mention of them was very important, because there were the Barbarians and then there were the Scythians, and Scythians were the Barbarians to the Barbarians.

And then he said, Christ's work on the the Cross was extended "even unto the Scythian" and it took my breath away, showing the depth and reach of the Cross. It was a very moving moment for me, that Christ could save and love the worst of humanity, then he could Love me. I never forgot it.

Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.
