To: Army Air Corps

If we didn’t have foreign papers we wouldn’t have any thoughtful news at all as of late!

So here is what I see happening....
I see a lot of tripe posted because of that lack of decent journalism and because of copyright bans on articles.
That leaves us with 10 articles a day from some blog on how the US spent 800 mil on teaching Africans to wash their tallywackers.

This results in a slew of guffawing posts, and a general malaise for those who are jonesing for an article that will stimulate them intellectually.

There used to be a great search engine that CaL shared with the group: NewsIndex.com

One could enter "Abu Sayyaf" and then get news articles from around the world about this group and alQueida. Oftentimes the articles were dated one day ahead of USA date because of the time difference.

Now there's Newspaperindex.com, but it's not as facile as the original.
