I share a measure of your concern.
Your work is among the most significant every posted here in my humble opinion.
The work on WMD in Iraq was a tremendous indication of the potential threat of the internet to the MSM logjam.
I hope you are looking for more innovative ways to implement your great voice. You have saved lives in my estimation with your arguments.
It will be a loss not to have you on FR.
I'm one of those who remembers those rants.
To say nothing of your "The Stimulus must be passed" garbage. So were I to hazard a guess as to your leaving, I would guess it irks you to see Conservatives getting the upper hand instead of RINOS. But what do I know.
I think your guess is a good one.
Well, now you’re really provoking Mrs Celtic Cross!
There is a lock down of news in general with OBarry in the white house.
What news of him today? What of the wars? the economy? Poverty? Unemployment?
It’s mostly whitewash nowadays, bread and circus’s for the masses.
Serious journalism is dead, but let a tea party candidate win a primary and watch the analyst come out of the woodwork.
LOL....
My kids still get a laugh when I explain how when I was a kid, we didn't actually HAVE computers, how my first calculator was great because it could add, subtract, multiply, and sometimes divide, and had 12 whole digits but you could only look at six at a time.
Then I tell them to look up my name on google, and see that I was posting to the "internet" before they were born. Ahh, Usenet, those were the days.....
God, that reminds me of all the fights on sci.skeptic about people not treating others with respect, and making personal attacks....
I guess nothing really changes, does it. Flamewar!!!!!
:-)
Yes, that has gone up the last 4-5 years, but there’s probably more to it. Lots of people see the increase in hostile kinds of postings and we are still here. Maybe posting less or more carefully, but we’re here reading and contributing.
Yeah.
The more I think about this, the more I’m starting to think it’s probably related specifically to Karl Rove in some way.
Wouldn’t want to try to figure out exactly what way - everyone deserves privacy.
But why today? I think it’s somehow personal, and somehow about Karl Rove. He’s the only thing which has really imploded today which would warrant such a tantrum.
There will be more such opuses.
They will be necessary. Sad, but his choice. Our country is more important, than anyone’s thin skinned tantrums.
Even really smart anyones.
Pick a lane. It’s that time.
Those heavy earrings have ruined her lobes.
Now try to explain humblegunner!
I think of the unpaid, no medical care, no pension patriots of Valley Forge, of the pioneers that with a few dollars, a couple of oxen, a wagon set out for the two year trek to Oregon, of the Marines at Midway that new they weren’t going to be rescued but fought on and many were later executed on the beach, and I think of the countless sacrifices and struggles that made this a great country.
But, I don’t think of you. At all. So, there you go.
Well sure, it’s not always the same, but in Kristinn’s case it was. I only ribbed him about it because I happened to be moving my cursor and it went over his name and put up his date, it caught my attention and then I saw his tag line had hte same date right next to it.
It’s really funny....
Suicide by tattoo?
Hasta la vista - and best wishes.

.
He’s PO’d cuz real Americans are taking back the GOP.
Your last line, I am with you there brother.
Hey! I shared a bottle of peach schnapps with that girl at the circus in Beaver Pa!
:-) They do have their charm.
You got it right.
