I heard him this morning too. He sounded like he had been horsewhipped all night, but then he got in a few slams at O’Donnell. He really didn’t backpedal. He’s playing both sides of the issue.

Unfortunately some do not get the “killing them with kindness” gambit, or how stunningly effective it is.

I remember when Sarah Palin opined about 0bama and, giving credit where credit was due, praised him for the (vanishingly) few things he had done correctly (mostly via keeping Bush policies he had previously criticized).

FReepers were apoplectic that she wasn't going after him with both barrels right from the get go!

Damning with faint praise, and killing them with kindness doesn't seem to register to some; and bless their hearts!

Sarah Palin’s “voice” comes through so well in her writing that I have to scoff openly about anyone ignorant enough to suggest that she is not penning her facebook entries.

Either she is writing them herself, or she has hired the most talented ghostwriter in history, one capable of channeling her “voice” flawlessly.

She also has a breathtaking talent for the turn of a phrase. “Death Panels” summed up the fear every intelligent individual has of his most intimate health care decisions being decided by a faceless panel of bureaucrats.

That's the way I heard it, too. And I was ready for him to eat some humble pie . He just sounded defensive and smug, and made me itch to slap his doughy face.

I still have that itch. He had it personal. Rectitude? RECTITUDE?!

He's high on his own ego, which must have busted up his long-term marriage.

I'm ready for some gossip about his divorce, his personal life, and who he's dating now that he's a big media star. I'll bet her name is Bubbles and she knows exotic dances.
