O’Donnell Fires Back at Karl Rove Criticism of Her: “He is eating some humble pie” – Video 9/15/10

Here is video of Delaware’s new GOP U.S. Senate nominee – Christine O’Donnell – on ABC this morning, where she talked about her victory with George Stephanopoulos. She also fired back at criticism of her by GOP Political Strategist Karl Rove, who last night questioned her ability as a candidate, and raised questions about her personal background.

O’Donnell gave credit to Sarah Palin for making the difference in her race. Palin endorsed her, and really helped her gain traction.

On criticism from Karl Rove, O’Donnell said his statements are “unfactual,” and suggested it comes from the fact Rove predicted she could not defeat Mike Castle.

“Everything that he is saying is un-factual. And it’s a shame because he is the same so-called political guru that predicted I wasn’t going to win. And we won and we won big. So I think, again, he is eating some humble pie and he is just trying to restore his reputation.”

She concluded by saying the “dirty politics” in attacking her did not work for her Republican opponent, and it “won’t work for the Democrats.”

He’ll only have to eat humble pie if she actually wins in Nov. Then he’ll have been proven wrong.

I have been a loyal GOPer my whole life. That changed yesterday listening to the RNC drones trash talk one of their own nominees.

I am donating my time and money directly to candidates, like O’Donnell in Delaware, from now on. The RINO machine running the GOP needs to be terminated.

The best way to hammer the message home to the RINO clique is for the Conservative movement to pull out all the stops to make sure O’Donnell wins in Nov.

I’ve never liked Karl Rove, he was Bush’s strategist telling Bush never to fight back and let the democrats define him, the results of this strategy? 4 years of Obama

The latest from rove only confirms what I already thought.

Contributing to individual candidates OF YOUR CHOICE is the only way to go. The "We Know Better" attitude of the main-stream political class (regardless of party affiliation) is insulting and should be denounced at every opportunity!

They are attacking her because he is not a member of the political elite. She should use that to hammer them into the ground. People are sick of “career politicians”, they want someone like them to represent them.

I never liked Rove either. He has always held that Republicans must be liberal in order to get elected. According to him, Reagan should never have won, let alone by landslides. Rove is pretty much the embodiment of what has been wrong with the Republican party for the last 20 years.

No, he's already been proven wrong because he ssid she couldn't win the primary. He actually went to Delaware and met with the teaparty members and tried to get them to vote for Castle.

Gosh. Those criticisms sound familiar. It seems there was another candidate in recent years who ran for national office whose ability as a candidate and whose personal background was questionable.

Anybody know who I'm talking about? Oh! Wait a minute. It's coming back to me.

The guy was a son of a former President who supposedly would never have gotten anywhere politically if he wasn't and he supposedly drank a lot and, oh yeah, it seems like he was accused of going AWOL instead of fulfilling his Air National Guard commitments or some such thing.

Can anybody remember the guy I'm talking about? Or whatever happened to him?

It appears the battle lines are drawn.

On one side, are Democrats and Republicans.

On the other side, is the Tea Party -- the American people.

The GOP establishment is going to sell the country down the river in its attempt to hold on to power. Go against the Country Club set of the party and it unleashes against good Republicans and conservatives.

I see why she won. She handled the interview perfectly. I must give credit to Palin for doing a great job vetting.
