Krauthammer: Palin endorsing O’Donnell is destructive

Actually, he said it was capricious and destructive and he called Demint’s endorsement of O’Donnell irresponsible. Wow!

I’ve seen some bad stuff written about O’Donnell, but, if all true, nothing bad enought to make me hope that the gun grabbing, baby killing, RINO wins...

I recorded it on DVD... and Fred Barnes was kissing him some kenyan booty too!

Love the Kraut. But when he is wrong, he is wildly wrong.

Yep, just like Joe Wilson had no chance! Another foul ball into the right field bleachers!

Another major political figure was not part of the elite establishment. Back in 1980, he ran for and became President. Guess what Krauthammer was doing? From Wikipedia, During the presidential campaign of 1980, Krauthammer served as a speech writer to Vice President Walter Mondale.

I agree with you about Fox and the dim stars. Britt Hume was so much better and he was the Conservative representative... he engaged and even ridiculed the left when needed. I even bought an XM radio for my vehicle, so that I could listen to them on my way home from work. I seldom watch Fox any longer... and seldom watch the dim stars. The XM radio sits on the Patriot channel these days.

What’s Krauthammer’s disability?

Never knew he was in a wheelchair.

Personally I think Mike Castle looks like ‘death sucking on a life saver’

I am tired of these old goats thinking they are ‘entitled’ to their position for eternity...new and younger people are needs for Congress.

Dr. K sounds like he is also entering the stage of ‘brain dead’ even thou he thinks he is a genius. I like the guy he is just not always right...

I have considered it, and I have read articles about how she sheltered his little problem from public attention. She was an enabler, and didn’t care about his proclivities as long as he was her path to political power. Read up.

Never knew he was in a wheelchair. Interesting.

It happened in his first year of residency.

I understand that Castle is pro-abortion and pro-cap’n’trade. Those are the first 2 things I heard. I’m not sure what kind of conservative that makes him.

Pro-abortion means he isn’t a social conservative.

Pro-cap-n-trade, with it’s massive theft of funds from the free market into governement coffers, means that he isn’t a fiscal conservative.

Can someone tell me what kind of conservative he is?

I would suggest that he’s the kind you keep “even closer” than you would a friend.

BTW, Krauthammer makes himself look silly by being a republican instead of a conservative. So does Krystal.

Interesting, hadn’t heard that.

Still I think her change was understandable and in large part driven by forces external to her own control.

Though. If she did have an inkling before hand, she should have known better - and it would pretty much be her fault. Even if humiliating, in part that would be her own fault.

I appreciate your feedback thanks. Good chatting with you.

I have always like Krauthammer but lately it almost seems like he is drinking the Kool Aid.

Not sure 2008 is a good analogy. There wasn’t a solid Conservative alternative to McCain, and McCain ended up winning kind of by default as other candidates withered, not because people thought he was more electable. At least that’s my take on it in retrospect. If you look back at the field now, it is depressing.

She’s been pretty calculating her whole life, beginning in Greece. She’s not the damaged woman lashing out, she’s a European fascist who realized like most modern dictators, that her best path to influence lay with the left.

How, then, do you explain Charlie's column of 2008-10-24, straight-forwardly entitled McCain for President?

Excerpt:

Who do you want answering that phone at 3 a.m.? A man who's been cramming on these issues for the past year, who's never had to make an executive decision affecting so much as a city, let alone the world? A foreign policy novice instinctively inclined to the flabbiest, most vaporous multilateralism (e.g., the Berlin Wall came down because of "a world that stands as one"), and who refers to the most deliberate act of war since Pearl Harbor as "the tragedy of 9/11," a term more appropriate for a bus accident?

Or do you want a man who is the most prepared, most knowledgeable, most serious foreign policy thinker in the United States Senate? A man who not only has the best instincts but has the honor and the courage to, yes, put country first, as when he carried the lonely fight for the surge that turned Iraq from catastrophic defeat into achievable strategic victory?

There's just no comparison. Obama's own running mate warned this week that Obama's youth and inexperience will invite a crisis -- indeed a crisis "generated" precisely to test him. Can you be serious about national security and vote on Nov. 4 to invite that test?
