The Glass Half Full

Each of us is a vessel,
Upwelling with life and with joy.
In childhood you see this bubblingness,
So delightful in each girl and boy.

Somewhere someone noticed,
Philosopher type, I would guess,
That some of us see a glass half full,
And some of us see it as less.

We've noticed that life can be short, sometimes,
We're hurt if it happens to be,
But it's only the vessel that comes up short,
The life is unending, you see.

We slake our thirst from a fountain,
That flows for all of our days,
And none of us ever is half filled up,

First off, you'd have to consider the content MUCH more carefully and it would take longer to be approved.

Not sure what a "tequila" is except it appears to be a Spanish feminine diminutive for "techie" (tequi)? No experience but one can guess... er... no... just not going there. *\;^)
