“Mike Castle, her opponent who voted FOR Cap and Trade and that awful DISCLOSE act, voting with the liberals most of the time but calling himself a Republican, I don’t know why.”

RINO’s have no sense of shame.

This is my take exactly. They want to make people who haven’t had party backing to erase campaign debts, or rich friends who absorb minor details like houses (see Barack Obama’s relationship with the Chicago criminal that bought him his house), they want to make regular people ineligible to run if they’ve had a financial issue ever in their lives. It’s one way to get elites only elected.

Very excellent Pat.

I believe that sentiment also favors those who have served in the military - duty, responsibility and overcoming adversity.

Rush doesn’t endorse candidates in primaries.

He came about as close as one could get today without actually endorsing.

but he came really really close with her and with Demos.

Cornyn should be wetting his pants. Instead he is defending incumbants in primaries. Does anyone have contact information for the RNSC?

Yes he did and he did a magnificent job of it. He handled it discretely, truthfully and he never once stepped over any line.

Rush doesn’t endorse candidates in primaries.

It's time that he started. I got very tired very quickly of him in 2008 when Limbaugh complained about how the Democrats and the MSM picked our candidate for us, while he stayed quiet when the Conservatives were still in the race and then lamented the lack of one in the general.

Limbaugh is long past the idea that he would hurt his credibility if he back and candidate in the primaries, and then they lost the nomination. The rest of us would just move onto backing the nominee in the general election.

So here's an interesting turn of events...below from the O'Donnell campaign. It would do me great honor to be a big help to get Christine elected. By the power of my words....I'd be so honored.

They're not great words but they're very true words...yes they are.

================

"Patricia, I am asking the campaign to print 10,000 copies and get them out to 10,000 Delaware Republican families. It's unconventional, which is a bad word in politics. I think it could be a winning action."

This would be a very important seat to win, because it is a special election to fill a vacancy and the winner will be seated immediately.

We can use the extra vote in the lame-duck session to block cloture on the Democrats' plans to force through unpopular legislation before the Republicans take over in January.

Who knows, maybe Christine will win on 9/14/10...that would be wonderful

All well and good, but a subsequent loss in November (which is likely) may be what keeps Harry Reid in as the Majority Leader. So if the gamble is worth it, Delaware voters, go for it; just remember what the ramifications are.

I can't stand the lot of the hypocrites all beating on this poor woman who what? Took a long time to pay off her college loans, had some wrestles with the IRS, other financial stuff, all settled now and water under the bridge. Where in the constitution does it say that if you've had financial problems in your life you can't be senator?

Personally, I'd prefer a candidate that has been targeted for destruction by the IRS. They know the destructive force that is direct taxation and how we are all randomly victimized by the most evil agency of the US government.

If the entire congress were full of IRS survivors we might just get the 16th amendment repealed and freedom restored
