These particular trees were located near Brandenberg, just east of Berlin. They were cut down after the fall of the Soviet Union. Few were concerned about the environmental fascim that those trees represented when they were cut down.

The trees were under commie control for over 45 years, I can only assume they were unaware the swastika was there; otherwise they would have been cut down long before Dec. 2000.
