I have been selling fishing rods on the Outer Banks since 1978. I know many of the people in this video and last year I told some of them your only hope is to get your National Congress critters, Reps., Senators and go to town.
You have to first realize you are not fighting bird loving environmentalists but environmental Marxists as I like to call them. they are the first line of assault for the Marxist movement. They are well funded and know exactly what they are doing since they do it all over the country. Love of animals has nothing to do with their quest. It's all divide and conquer. It's now being spread by the regime.
This is how they slowly but surely conquer area after area,a little bit at time terrorist style.
If you fight them they will fold and go somewhere else and try the same crap all over.
We have been dealing with them down here in the Keys for almost 30 years. Incremental ism is their game. A little bit at a time. They never stop but then neither do we. We are fortunate we have Ileana ros Lehtinen on our side, you need help from Washington and after Nov. it should be there.
Don't give up they can be beaten back, they are nothing more than Marxists extremists trying to co-op your land. Don't let them do it.
A well done piece. Thanks for posting it.
I’m in NC and have heard who upset fishermen are about this, and homeowners north of Corolla are very concerned since driving on the beach is the only access to their properties.
But, I was out on Hatteras Island just three weeks ago, and all the vehicular acces points were open, vehicleson the beach from Oregon Inlet all the way down to Cape Hatteras.
Shoot, Shovel, Shut UP. Problem solved.....red
This isn’t a NC Gov. problem, it’s a Federal problem. If it’s any consolation, Earl wiped the Plover nests for this year.
For what it’s worth the NPS is under court order to protect the birds and turtles. The land on the OBX was donated or sold to the state of NC, not the Federal Government. The land was worthless at the time. The land was given to the NPS by the state of NC to protect the outer banks. All of the above should be resolved one way or the other by the end of the year per the judge. I was at Buxton, NC, from June through July. The “point” was open when I left. There is 70 miles of beach with very little of it closed. The economy has not suffered because of anything the NPS has done....quite the contrary. The main thing that ruins Flanagans is his attitude toward anyone who disagrees with him.
This is a very informative documentary, save for one thing - what can we do to help these people and others in the same situation? Contribute to a legal fund? Write letters?
I don’t want to just sit here and be angry. Tell me what kind of action needs to be taken.
