Castle didn’t vote for smaller Gov’t in the Congress, he won’t in the Senate!

Who cares what Erick Erickson thinks?

Well since Erick Erickson wrote the original smear article this thread is pointing to and has now has disavowed the entire O'Donnell operation, I think his opinion matters.

A better question might be, why are these month old disavowed smears resurfacing disguised as recent news?

Hmmm?

>>>Note the 2nd Amendment issue!

An ‘A’ vs an ‘F’.<<<

Castle is soooo two-faced, he is pictured WITH GUN in the Wilmington fish wrapper the other day...

Stand by - Castle will have his next picture of him in a tank.

Hmmmm, that’s been done already... but it probably won’t stop him.

He brags that ‘I balanced the State budget 8 years in a row’ - hell, he is required to by State Law! That’s like saying I renewed my auto insurance 8 years in a row - another requirement of law...

Then he talks about Congress being spendthrifts as though he had no part in it for 17 1/2 years... Even though he makes the top 10% of the House spenders...

Geesh...

>>>The ‘no help from state GOP’ is also part of the fundraising stichk<<<

HORSEFEATHERS!!!!!!!!!!

2008 the State Party Chairman promised things that he did not have the ability to deliver on - namely expenses they said they would pay. This led to Christine having to borrow against her house.

THAT is why Christine would not declare earlier than she did this year. Once burned by the Party, she held off (and she publicly said so) until at least $100,000 was donated so she wouldn’t be put in the same situation as before.

Another tidbit you may not be aware of - the Party’s finances were so bad that at one point Castle gave them $30,000 from his campaign funds! Now it is payback time!

And you wonder why the attitudes?

Oh, you speak of filibusters - you are aware aren’t you that Castle just two weeks ago said he wants to revise the Senate rules and eliminate the filibuster - AND he was looking at other rules he wanted to change...

We need to give Castle a one-way ticket to Michele Rollins’ 7,000 acre resort!

The same people that say that a conservative can’t win in Delaware say that a conservative can’t win in Maine.

Boy, are we slow readers. The rumor in the posted article is this: “serve a bit, then become a Democrat, resign”.

I was specifically talking about the suggestion he would resign after he became a democrat. You seem to agree with me, by saying he would switch to democrat to get power, not to resign.

I don't disagree, but you can't have it both ways. Either the GOP fully supported O'Donnell in 2008 or they didn't.

If you and I agree that they didn't help her in 2008, then the accusation that the GOP is reversing course by turning their back on her now is invalid.

-the Party’s finances were so bad that at one point Castle gave them $30,000 from his campaign funds! Now it is payback time!

That was mighty white of him. Not something a party bolter is likely to do either.

-you are aware aren’t you that Castle just two weeks ago said he wants to revise the Senate rules and eliminate the filibuster -

A number of Republican Senators were in favor of this change back in 2005. Not sure if they still are, although the principle remains the same.

Does Christine O'Donnell favor fillibuster reform?

No, I think the bigger question is (would be)..what-in-the-world is wrong with the DE GOP? That they didn’t fully support Ms. O’Donnell in 2008 says a lot (if what you said is true)!

BTW: I don’t like Castle (and don’t live in DE so I can’t vote), but am not sure about Ms. O’Donnell after what I have been reading either!
