American Youth for Democracy eh?
Communism is when it is a better investment to donate money to a constitutional conservative candidate than buying stock.
True communism is when a group of people divide up their resources and tasks and responsibilities and work together for the betterment of the whole. It works great in small close knit groups of honest unselfish people, a family for instance, or a clan.
Political communism is a different matter completely. It’s a sham. A perfect ploy for a two bit wanna be dictator to manipulate people into helping him seize power.
“True communism is when a group of people divide up their resources and tasks and responsibilities and work together for the betterment of the whole. It works great in small close knit groups of honest unselfish people, a family for instance, or a clan.”
But it has never worked in practice; it always devolves into totalitarianism like in countless efforts including China, Russia, VietNam, Cuba, etc. Great concept, lousy plan once put into practice. Individuals seek control.

See above - same shit, different address.
communism within a family works just fine. As long as there’s no cheaters/liars. if so they are dealt with via tribal justice or the group breaks up.

People cheat, period and the group will break up, period Idealism exists in fairy tales, not in real life.
I don’t know what kind of family you grew up in. Mine could’ve pulled off communism just fine. Sure, there’d be a few hiccups. There always is. But capitalism within a group of aunts uncles, cousins, granparents, grandkids, great aunts/uncles, second cousins...when there is no interaction with outsiders, just seems absurd to me. Especially when no one has any money anyway. in my family, even if everyone broke up and did their own thing, if one fell behind in some way, the others would all make a housecall with manpower, tools, and materials to bring him up to speed. That’s not exactly capitalism.
Actually capitalism is eggsackley what that is. You see, under communism the ones who come to ‘bring them up to speed’ would sit drunk in some government supplied housing expecting the government ‘angel’ to do it for your family. Folks don’t realize that charity is at a zenith under a truly capitalistic system where excellence is rewarded most. When abundance is earned, giving to those ‘less fortunate’ is a natural. The farming communities teach that to us, even as we give over our food production to farming mega-companies, to our great loss. Look to the Amish for instruction. You may not realize it, but theirs is a very capitalist system, softened by a love of God.
Nimrod of Babylon was was the first world despot and dictator, and the first communist.
No, it's GOD’s order.
Communism is when you break down the family,
strip it of it's power and replace it with government.
They might have been groovy for a time but how long did they last until all of the horrors of humanity showed up.
How can that equate to communism?
“The Patriarch and Matriarch lead the family”
RIGHT!!!!
It’s GODs order.
Communism is when you break down the family,
strip it of it’s power and replace it with
a despotic dictator government.
I think you are confused.
in a very small group, there is no government. the people ARE the government. And it’s not really charity. It’s just normal function of the family economic unit. I’d call that a form of communism...the only form that works.
It’s a commune on a very small scale. A commune is communism. Not political communism, but true communism as I understand it.
I will concede this could be more of a Southern cultural concept. Now even with my parents passed on, among my siblings I defer to my oldest brother and my brother that Mom left in-charge of her estate.
Furthermore, in our extended family I will defer to my oldest Uncle to advise and lead. Even if I feel my Uncles advice is not welcome, I would never tell him because he has earned his authority. Among my own family, my wife an I are the parents. If it is family, it can't be a commune.
