I’ve come to the conclusion that its a waste of time to engage people like this, to worry what they think, to worry why they think such awful things about us, to try and convince them... anything.
They’re the problem. They don’t get it, aren’t going to get it, and in the absense of a miracle will die never having had a clue. Smarter people than me can explain it, but some people are beyond the reach of spirit and reason.
So you just move on. Stand for what you stand for. Say what you have to say, and keep saying it. Ignore the folks who are never going to get it.
Me too. I wonder why we bother to post trash like this. Walsh and her Salon readers are so intellectually and ethically dysfunctional that logical discourse is impossible. Let's get on with the big job of putting America back on course.
