Here is video of J.D. Hayworth in his concession speech last night, where he stopped his supporters from booing John McCain. Hayworth had told supporters that the people of Arizona had decided that our senior Senator will move to enforce the border . At that point, the crowd began to boo and groan, and Hayworth stopped them and said that the time for derision during a campaign is over.
He went on to say he sincerely hopes McCain will do the things he has promised to do during the campaign.

The enemy of the good is perfect.
I ahve always believed that a non-vote is a vote for a Democrat. If you don’t vote, that helps the Democrat. which helps to keep Pelosi and Reid in their jobs. If enough people had held their nose and voted for McCain, do you believe as President, he would have done a tenth of what this president has done?
The argument could be made that he would have done the same things, but that is baloney. He would never have backed out on current military actions, and he would never have given us Kagan and Sotomayor.
You may or may not be correct in your assertions, but my logic is this: Many candidates count on getting our votes because they are the lesser of two evils in the voters minds. Sooner or later they need to learn that making promises to get the nomination then not following through once elected will cost them. In the case of McCain, there is no difference between him and any democrat you could name. I prefer my enemies out in front of me, not behind my own lines. I can fight a democrat. How the hell does one do battle with a lying snake like McCain?
