Some of my fellow az republicans are nuts to have voted for mcamnesty. They swallowed his campaign rhetoric and posturing hook, line and sinker. Let's see if he'll even mention securing the border in the months to come.

Lastly, he's no friend of gun owners. I'm waiting for him to reintroduce [his] bill to close the so called gunshow loophole.

It seems McCain ran against Hayworth with far more enthusiasm than he had when running against Obama.

But if you noticed when McCain made his speech..he said something like... “I will make decisions that I THINK will benefit Arizona” or something like that. It was not about doing the peoples will. What is wrong with Arizona? It is all jacked up...talk about sending a mixed message Arizona!

The biggest loser was McCain’s honor. There was absolutely no excuse for launching his vile TV ads with $20,000,000 of campaign money given by Republicans to his lousy presidential campaign. Shame on McCain.

If I were an AZ resident, I’d vote for the Democrat in November. Seriously. McCain needs to go.

I agree with you about McCain, but the people of Arizona made their choice, they said that they preferred him.

At least I will have a clear conscience. I voted JD. Now this is my own prediction (and I hope to heaven I am wrong) but I see Juan McLame changing parties (ala Specter) to Demorat within the first 6 months of him getting re-elected to the Senate.

That’s ridiculous, why would he do that when the Republicans will be taking over in November.

Please stop it...I live in AZ and I worked my butt of for JD, so I have a right to say my peace...I loathe McCain, but this is how I see it. McCain has NO legacy. Right now he’s the guy who handed the election to the guy who is destroying the Country. It’s not for nothing that John Boy has been campaigning here with Jan Brewer. He sees what doing Conservative things does. He wants some kind of legacy, and right now the only thing he can hang his hat on are border issues and conservative fiscal policies. I don’t see why, when Dems are SO unpopular, he would do anything else. That’s just my 2 cents. I have mcCain, on tape, telling me NO AMNESTY. So...there ya go.

That's exactly right. At this point, the idea that if I vote for Person X it might help the GOP get a majority in the House or the Senate -- I really don't care anymore. McCain and Steele and the others have shown me what the GOP is. I no longer place hope in elections, because whatever way the outcome goes, I lose.

A hard rain is gonna fall.

well, thank God you’re not an AZ resident. We want to take the Senate back, not lose it. It’s just one of those things we have to accept...that for some reason, which I don’t understand, AZ Republicans love their jD...I had a primary party out our headquarters yesterday and one of my favorite guys in town came. He is a staunch conservative in every way, but he loves McCain...it defies logic. It’s like Kennedy in Massachussetts. He’s a scoundrel, but he’s OUR scoundrel.

Oh shut up...he’s one person. Do you know how many people put themselves out this election? How many people are working tirelessly to take back Congress and direct it to the right? How many people have given up their livelihoods so they can fight what’s going on now? And you have the freaking nerve to sit there and say Ba humbug...my guy lost so screw it all. You owe all of us who work our butts off a huge apology.

Hey, he almost did that already - but “Jumping Jim” Jeffords beat him to it.

My vote in Nov. is going to be a hard one...

So much is on tape now, he's going to have a hard time for every left move he makes - I hope...
