Do folks think it's more PC OR WHAT!?
I don’t use it! Only in “” when needed.
I moved up to “homosexual” from “sodomite” some years ago just to be “nice”.
Might go back, though.
In “The Pink Swastika” the author explains that the word “homosexual” was invented by a sodomite in the latter half of the 19th century to give an aura of “special community” and identity to those who practiced sodomy. So even the word “homosexual” is really just as bad as “gay”.
Sodomite and pederast are actually the proper words.
