Great lengths some supporters will go for the candidate of their choice, particularly in a hotly contested election cycle. Lie, steal, cheat and beg, in fact. It is the nature of the beast. Politics is a peoples game, a turf war, a struggle to come out on top. Power corrupts even the best. The tea party is no different, a political animal all in itself, where you will find much weakness and much strength.
Politicos and patriots alike will pick and choose candidates, smile and shake hands, and at the end of the day, voters will have their say, and volunteers will find satisfaction in giving it their all in support of a candidate they believe in. But not all politicos are honest, and not all tea party patriots are patriots.
Under the guise of informing the public in a non-biased way, some tea party leaders have lowered themselves to boosting their own candidate and insulting anyone who disagrees with them. These so-called patriots are what I like to call PINOs, an acronym to describe a Patriot in Name Only. I am not a big Lazio fan, but I did not find this article to make the case against him very well. The whole part about PINOs before getting anywhere near the meat of the story was misguided. A little too much verbiage and very little meat. I also don’t like using the term “tea bag” at all.
I read the article. Pfffft. You support Lazio. She supports Palladino. Voters will make their own choice.
