Look, I have
defended Beck and believe he provides tons of information that you won't get anywhere else (even if 15% of it is wrong!). It has only been in the last year or so since he has started offering his own solutions, of a "spiritual" nature,to the problems. It is these that I reject. I love our Constitution, but it is not inspired. I think freedom is better than bondage. I don't think gathering at the mall on Washington singing Kum-Ba-Ya will make any difference. What got me going was Beck's claim that the preaching of George Whitefield made our country prepared for a Republic (which it no doubt helped), but then deny every single thing Whitefield preached.
Yes I hear you. Very sad, he keeps going down that road and he will lose audience and possibly his show. He’s right to keep this association quiet as long as possible because his biggest supporters are people like us, who give everyone the benefit of the doubt when it comes to ideas in the political arena, but whose beliefs will never be compromised.
I guess what I’m saying is that I’m dicernong no real reason (yet) to tune him out. I think that’s what you’re saying too. I’m just disappointed someone who seems so smart may not be
