This is really about “social conservatives” versus certain “fiscal conservatives.” The latter supposes supporting groups as HOMOCON is warranted because they claim to support smaller government, and will not major on social issues, but the reality is that you can only have smaller government insofar as the people are controlled from within, by God and or at least a sound conscience. The homosexual movement is critically contrary to God’s laws and will foster immorality, and in their attempt to rationalize away guilt, will favor government censure of those who oppose them. http://conservapedia.com/Homosexual_agenda
They want smaller government to control them but more control for everyone else. Yup. That’s not conservative. They also want gubmint to help homosexual businesses. That’s not a small government idea either.
They don’t even want a smaller government. Most of their legislative agenda is “gay” rights, which cost money. They even want our government to intervene in other countries who legislate against “gay” agenda stuff in their own countries. They want money for “gay” owned businesses. They want money to renovate old town city centers. These are all money grabbing agendas.
As far as smaller government control, they’re all about HUGE government. Hate crimes, forcing same sex marriage, homosexuals in the military plus the above are all MORE government, in every way.
They’re just another leftist organization pretending to be “conservative” to steer the GOP in their direction.

Whoops here’s the correct link: http://twitter.com/ChrisRBarron
The guy is the Chairman of the Board of GOProud
Very good find. Makes it crystal clear what their mission is.
If his only goal is homosexual issues then they are not conservative at all and are now exposed as the liars we knew them to be.
there is nothing conservative about supporting the homosexual agenda.remember marriage is a step, once they get it they then want adoption, they then want it taught in school.
they then will want every church every religion to marry them.
Don’t believe me then look at MA and messed up it is there.
This email was sent to The Daily Caller from conservative pundit and author Ann Coulter in response to the announcement that WorldNetDaily editor Joseph Farah had dropped her as a speaker for an upcoming event.
The email, which Coulter prefaced was written in a rush reads as follows:1) farah is doing this for PUBLICITY and publicity alone;2) this was an email exchange btwn friends and even though I didnt expressly say OFF THE RECORD and I believe everything I said,
hes a swine for using my private emails politely answering him.
why would he do such a despicable thing? for PUBLICITY.
3) but now that he has, I will say that he could give less than two sh-ts about the conservative movement as demonstrated by his promotion of the birther nonsense (long ago disproved by my newspaper, human events, also sweetness & light, american spectator and national review etc, etc etc).
Hes the only allegedly serious conservative pushing the birther thing. for ONE reason: to get hits on his website.
4) his group hadnt come up for the money to book me for a speech, anyway, so hes not canceling me from anything.
also, FYI; my fellow evangelicals and I know lots and lots of em all think its great that Im doing this.
(of course, they know Im not changing my mind on gay marriage even though I like gays.)
this is total b.s. for PUBLICITY by a publicity whore. Attack ann coulter, get publicity. liberals figured that out a long time ago, so hes a little late to the party.

No. It hasn't.
ping to post 112 and see what Coulter says about “birthers”.
their agenda does not matter- I disagree with all that stuff, and would love to have the opportunity to TELL THEM oh say by giving a speach there maybe???
that’s the point you are missing here
You dont advance your cause by just preaching to the choir all the time
Jesus went among the sinners
No such thing as a homosexual republicans. Get over it homos!
Oh no, not another comparing Jesus to Ann Coulter again!
If she tells them their pro-gay rights agenda is unconstitutional and not conservative, I will be pleasantly surprised.
We will all find out what she says, when she says it.
I seriously doubt, though, that this group is open to suggestions.
Did you see this, posted by Desert Renegade above:

See post 107. These are not conservatives. And Coulter isn’t Jesus. He preached for free. She gives speeches. For pay.
Funny her calling someone else a “publicity whore...”

IMHO, Ann takes the "Go into all the world..." command (from the Bible) seriously.
