Ted is in a very diverse, multi-cultural place now. He must be very happy.

They are always way off predicting any numbers. The constantly “surprising” unemployment and economic numbers reported in teh MSM are an example of this..

Yet 1,045,000 legal immigrants flooded our cities in 1996 alone.

I have no problem whatever with legal immigration. Legal immigrants are among the highest contributors to American innovation and entrepreneurship, and without the inflow of talented, educated people from abroad the US would be facing the same dwindling population and shrinking economy that Western Europe and Japan are struggling to deal with.

Uncontrolled, illegal immigration is the problem. Legal immigration should be encouraged, if anything.
