Lamh Foistenach Abu! I've been writing about this for 30 years - ever since I, as an investigative reporter for a statewide paper, infiltrated a “NO PRESS’ meeting of our state's DSA meeting - they went on in very state, called DSOC meetings (Democratic Socialist Organizing Committee meetings.)
The main speaker was, at the time, our states Senate Majority leader - a democrat. He came to the podium, pulled a card out of his pocket and opened with: “I, like you, am a card carrying socialist.”
He went on to lament that since they were unsuccessful in even getting their knight in shinning armor - Ted Kennedy - elected as their presidential candidate and then, on top of that, Ronald Reagan ran away with the election - that they now would have to pull back and regroup.
Their new strategy? “Infiltrate and take over the democrat party.”
that was, as I say, 30 years ago. Any doubt as to their success?
The people slept. Most still do. I almost can't even care anymore. Almost.
