This video of a protester's encounter with Sarah Palin is pretty good, although I'm not sure why it's that big of a deal. The protester has a sign in which is written "worst governor ever"...and when asked why, she says because Palin quit. Which means she wanted her as her governor.
Makes sense?

Huh? How friggin insane are these people? If you hate your governor and thought this person was terrible wouldn't you be cheering if they left office early?
Of course there is nothing in the video that could be a gotcha moment so the left is alleging that Sarah rolled her eyes when told that the protester is a teacher which means she hates teachers.
Yeah:
The LSM has now decided to use this brief encounter for another one of their spin operations. They claim I – wait for it – “appear to roll my eyes” when the lady tells me she’s a teacher. Yes, it’s come to this: the media is now trying to turn my eyebrow movements into story lines. (Maybe that’s why Botox is all the rage – if you can’t move your eyebrows, your “eye rolling” can’t be misinterpreted!) If they had checked their facts first, they would have known that I come from a family of teachers; my grandparents were teachers, my father was a teacher, my brother is a teacher, my sister works in Special Needs classrooms, my aunt is a school nurse, my mom worked as a school secretary for much of her professional life, we all volunteer in classrooms, etc., etc., etc. Given that family history, how likely is it that I would “roll my eyes” at someone telling me that they too work in that honorable profession? Stay classy, LSM.
Sarah did great here. The protester was hostile and within a minute Sarah had that hostility gone.

The ‘protester’ said she disappointed the Sarah Palin did not honor her obligation by finishing her term as governor.
Does this same logic apply to Illinois US senators who don’t finish their 6 year term ???

I love this woman, for many reasons, including the fact that she exemplifies how little correlation there is between being verbally ‘smooth’ and being bright. The left have very childish and shallow criteria for ‘intelligence’, and they are so very far off base. Smart is how you interpret the facts put before you, not how ‘smoothly’ you spout the popular drivel.
Sarah has the fine touch ability to turn lemons into lemonade.

A FReeper on a related thread discovered that the teacher also happens to be the head of some local abortion rights organization and apparently is something of an activist.
Also, at one point in the video, the teacher says something snarky to the effect of “you swore on YOUR precious bible”, which also leads me to think the woman had issues with Palin other than what she was professing to.
It’s hilarious that her haters expect her to go “Howard Dean crazy” but she always remains polite and therein she takes control of every confrontation.

Agreed! Historically there are many times in my life I wish I had learned this lesson before I opened my mouth. I admire the way she conducts herself and her life, and I don’t admire many in the public spotlight.

The person in the video has been named and if the name is correct, she is an abortion activist and president of the local family planning clinic in Homer.
I'm sure we'll find out more. Another report which I didn't mention because it's more "out there" is that this person is not a teacher at all.
