First there were emerging details (and price tags) from First Lady Michelle Obama's trip to Spain. Then the inside scoop of President Obama's birthday celebration in Chicago with gal-pal Oprah Winfrey and others. Now we hear how the president enjoyed a weekend of golfing with friends and playing basketball with current and former pro athletes. In an effort to legitimize using his position to indulge in childlike fantasies, the basketball game was played in front of a group of US troops injured in action.

Ditto. I remain speechless regarding the performance of this man-boy as POTUS. He is shameful in his actions, especially in front of brave MEN wounded in battle to preserve his freedom to act like a child. We continue to decline, albeit faster under this poor excuse of a leader, than any other in history.
He makes me ill.
Hey, they promised him all he’d have to do is stand up on the stage and say what they wanted him to say - and then he’d get to be president with all the fun stuff too!
The only thing that really makes sense is that he either knows or believes that he will soon be “outed” as ineligible for the Presidency — and that he is determined to have as much fun as he can (and do as much damage as he can) before that happens.
It sort of reminds me of a story I read about where a man in the UK told his friends that he had won the national lottery. Once word spread, he was overwhelmed with offers of easy credit, freebies, etc.
Of course, he hadn’t won anything, but he managed to run up millions in debt based on the lie before he was finally brought to book. Towards the end, the pressure of knowing he would be caught sooner or later made his life hell.
Looking at Obama and the “stress” his gray hair is showing, it seems to me he is feeling the same thing. He knows the gig will be up soon, and waiting for the hammer to fall must be getting to him.
I have always thought he was more interested in an all expense paid posse and getting his autograph book signed by celebrities..

Good satire is funny. (Like the one where he gave the Queen of England an I-pod). This is just sick.
Are you serious? He played basketball for an audience of injured soldiers, some of whom probably can’t even walk? Obama is one sick puppy.
I predict some information will come out soon making it impossible for Obama to stay in the presidency. Both he and Michelle know this, hence the extravagant finger-in-the-eye behavior we’ve been seeing.

Someone probably had to tell Der Leader that making wounded soldiers walk a golf course instead would have been tacky even for him.
