The issue here is that Rubio is campaigning against Crist in the PRIMARY when Crist is not even on the ballot. The time to engage Crist is AFTER 24 August. I agree with DR. Escoffery. I don’t think Rubio can beat Crist is the General Election. That is not anything negative against Rubio just an analysis of the facts. Crist was NEVER a threat in a GOP Primary. So going after him in the Primary is just a ploy to try and reign in the conservative vote. IMHO
Get over yourself. Rubio has a commanding lead in the GOP. All your guy can do is take a few lame shots at Rubio up until the primary, when Rubio will win in a landslide. Rubio is PROPERLY looking ahead to November, because that is where the real contest will be. NOT against your guy.
Just spotted this. You really, REALLY can't be serious, can you? Crist started out WAY ahead of Rubio and with a sizeable warchest and the advantage of being the sitting governor of the state. Yet you, Mr. Knows-it-All, can sit here and say that Crist was NEVER a threat in the GOP primary? Guess what, Bucko - it only looks that way now because of the all hard work Rubio - and his many conservative supporters - did over the last two years.
I've seen some ludicrous posts over the years, but you are outdoing yourself on this thread - displaying an utterly abject ignorance of the race you are commenting on.
Florida Senate - Rubio vs. Meek vs. Crist AIF/McLaughlin (R) Crist 38, Rubio 36, Meek 16 Crist +2
Florida Senate - Rubio vs. Greene vs. Crist AIF/McLaughlin (R) Crist 37, Rubio 37, Greene 16 Tie
latest polling.
The race is tightened and it seems clear the Democrat contender will be the deciding factor.
