I believe that LEO can still check for illegal status at their discretion but, it is not mandatory as it would have been with the new law.

How long before Arizona leaves the Obamaunion and forms an independent nation? How long before other states join her in a new Confederacy of Liberty? Arizona could be taken down but—if seven or eight states joined her—if they seized nukes and vowed to take out Washington or Chicago. It would be the end of the USA but maybe that’s not such a bad thing.
