Well, thank you. The photos inspire me!
I am at a loss to understand why so many Americans dont see this. The only explanation I can come up with is they resent her beauty and her good choices.
That's a big part of it, no question, but I think it goes deeper than that. Democrats will always dislike our conservative GOP politicians. The more conservative they are, the more the Democrats and their partners in the media will direct their venom towards them.
Independents tend to not be very politically aware, so they usually rely on the media for their news and as such, the media's liberal-leftist bias against Sarah colors their opinion. The only way they can learn about her positions and ideas is by listening to her directly. Sarah recognizes she has a lot of work to do in this area, and tries to take her message directly to the people, minimizing the liberal media's influence. This is a difficult job, but the more TV and radio appearance Sarah makes, the better people get to know her.
Some on our side hate her as well. I think some more conventionally minded conservatives find Sarah alienating because she is a strong woman who doesn't adhere to the female stereotype of dependency and submissiveness, but rather breaks it into the male dominated world of national politics successfully. Often, you would see derogatory comments associated with her persona, something you don't often see done with the major GOP male politicians.
