Look, around here I'm regarded as an anti-birther. A lot of birther "statements of fact" are either false, or wild speculation.
But if a pregnant Stanley Ann Dunham filed an original passport application (which required information about her planned trip) in 1960, that is a potential real true fact which would support birtherism.
The Dems were willing to dig down deep for very obscure views of the law regarding American citizens born abroad to Americans then in military service.
The far more moderate "Faux Birtherism" currently drawing criticism from the more refined classes is kind of based on FACTS and FACTOIDS, virtually none of which need be made-up to raise valid questions.
Unless you're willing to just pull stuff out of the air, you can't really get into Democrat mode "True Birtherism".
