>>>”Hes making a very important point here that I havent seen anybody else make. Its not simply about being opposed to Islam, but identifying and stopping Islams attempt to take over our system of law.”
Sorry livius, but if you had watched the video or read the transcript in post #14, it specifically encourages “Moslems” wherever to take a stance against Sharia laws, wherever they are. And, it does clearly mention that Saudi Arabia is one of the key financiers of “Political” Islam i.e. Sharia Laws, all around.
Then again, for your point, there is no point in some Moslems rejecting Sharia laws, even in the West, if Western governments, and many “Westerners” do not understand it, nor appreciate or care about the threat Sharia Laws pose to their own western society.
It is an important point he’s making but it’s simply not true that no one else is making it. Maybe you mean no one as famous is making it. I’m not sure that’s true.
But regardless, I just don’t trust him, on anything, not even this. Once you participate in a Grand Sellout of Basic Conservative Principles (which is Global Warming Sellout was and is) then you must, by definition, lose all credibility on all issues.
What prevents him from issuing an “apology” to Islam at sometime in the future, in a joint Couch Appearance with a Saudi prince or with our own Islamic Prince in the White House?
Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
I’ll take my allies as I find them and if he continues to oppose Sharia well then more power to him but I won’t send any of his various fund raising efforts a single thin dime and I will not say a single good word about this crud.
Newt is crud and if he really wants to apologize to someone he should apologize to us. But he’s not going to do that. He’s got too many leftist friends he has to put on his kneepads for and kneel down in front of... the crud.
Newt helped put together the Contract With America, took back the House, then proceeded to not deliver on *anything* they were elected on. He even got House rules changed to make it *more* difficult to get those passed. For that alone, he should have been dragged out of his office and beaten to death in the shadow of the equestrian group that was erected in memory of US Grant.

Yes, I agree. I just didn’t express myself in quite so colorful a way as you did. [bows respectfully to the master] He really is totally exposed as a RINO extraordinaire, and he can slink away and assume quietus for all I care.
;’) He seems to subscribe to the old showbiz axiom, “there’s no such thing as bad publicity.”
