That’s right. You didn’t misunderstand me. WE’RE going to lose this election in November…unless we make a change. You see, there are two sure-fire ways to help our movement lose, come November 2nd.

Once we stop the bleeding, we can then focus on improving the quality of our stock of candidates.

Uhuh, that is the same BS that the neocons and GOP in general has been preaching for decades and where are we now? Oh yeah our nation is being destroyed because we throw away any principles to elect the 'lesser of two evils' who really isn't lesser at all. From the republican revolution to GW Bush. The GOP at any cost crowd has done all they can to promote namby pamby supine practical selections that are helping us down the pathway to hell. 'Reach across the aisle' and you too can pretend it is the best course of action. Just like with McCain and all the other traitors.

What part of RCP’s Feingold +1.8% is difficult for you to understand?
Even if you placed more weight on the Rassumssen results showing Johnson at +2%, does that mean you can sit on your butt?

The Wisconsin senate race looks promising at this point (would never have been one I would expect to win), but the poll numbers I’ve seen people cite in Nevada, Colorado, Kentucky, and Florida have me scratching my head and feeling depressed. I just don’t understand it.

McCain was the last time I will hold my nose and vote for the lesser of two evils. Never again. Let Kirk, Castle, McCain lose

I hated the way that mclame ran his campaign and muzzled Sarah Palin. I hate everything about him. But when push comes to shove and we need 60, he is there at least 90% of the time. I would much rather see JD holding the flag, but that seems to be a fading dream.

We need to not give up the fight. I am working hard to research every single judges race on a local level because the winners may become a nominee for SOCTUS in the future. We have to fight every battle.

Even here in FL 20, I will not concede the race to Wasserman-Slut until she actually wins. We may have an uphill battle and our candidates may be rough to RINO but who knows?

Latest Rasmussen Poll (July 27, 2010) has Johnson up by two on Feingold; 48% - 46%. When a long-time incumbent is down by two to his challenger and four points below 50 percent, with just 90 days until the election, I would not say he's winning.

Also, latest polls, other than Gallup (the official polling agency of the DNC) have Rubio up by 2 percentage points over Crist.

You just don’t understand.
There is no such thing as “The Tea Party”.
You can not herd cats.

Point of Order here; Castle has NOT yet gotten the GOP nomination in Delaware. Christine O’Donnell has a good shot at taking the nomination away from him.

Did I say anything about sitting on my butt, or was your posted intended for someone else?

Feingold should be up by 20% in WI. That fact that he’s not even polling near 50% shows he’s in big trouble and can be taken down. Why are you so quick to give up WI to Feingold?

1.6 trillion dollars is not a drop in any bucket. The repubics deserve to be kicked around... they earned it... but this is not a trivial undertaking... if they ever do it.

I simply cited the races that RCP shows us losing, as a mechanism to motivate conservatives on this site.

RCP Average 7/9 - 7/21 — 34.3 30.7 18.0 Crist +3.6
Rasmussen Reports 7/21 - 7/21 750 LV 33 35 20 Rubio +2

My posting is to make sure we don’t get comfortable with any of the toss up races!!

[W]e can’t get bogged down in internecine warfare, turf battles and ego clashes.

I think it's great! that a Freeper remembered the Monty Python movie Life of Brian, speaking of internecine battles. The movie dialogue he posted is hilarious. It is my favorite movie.

It is hilarious when one of the greatest ever comedy teams does it but in the Tea Party? Tain't funny, McGee.

IMO every time a Tea Party member's ego (or agent provocateur) goes wild the offender should be openly compared to Monty Python's Flying Circus.

we throw away any principles to elect the 'lesser of two evils' who really isn't lesser at all.

So can you name the better candidate that was not elected because Republicans elected the lesser of two evils? Just one or two in the last two cycles would be fine.

But when push comes to shove and we need 60, he is there at least 90% of the time. '

I will disagree with the percentage. More importantly, it is the issues he supports that will damage this country, e.g., amnesty, cap and trade, etc. An amnesty will destroy this country with the stroke of a pen. Everything else is just rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

I am not trying to show anyone anything. I am more concerned about looking myself in the mirror and calling myself a principled conservative. The GOP and the people who support McCain deserve what they get. McCain is the biggest RINO of all. He will destroy the GOP from within. His reelection will signal business as usual for the Rep establishment. McCain must be defeated.

WE’RE going to lose this election in November

Are you a Dem? WE are not going to LOOSE regardless of the outcome of the November election. But I expect a Tsunami that will just be the beginning wave of an assault that will begin to drain-the-swamp of these cretin.
