There are a lot of "snopedopes" on the net; I've had to remove people from my mailing lists who check out every email and proceed to lecture me about the content, which I don't make up, I just forward them.
Having said that, I don't feel that it is my place to edit, or verify everything received in email; usually it's OBVIOUSLY a joke, or satire.
IF I'm really interested, and it affects me or my family, I'll check it out - but not on Snopes or Factcheck...both leftists strongholds.
For email recipients it is "caveat emtor" (sp?)let the buyer beware.

If I find out it isn't, I'll "reply all" and tell everyone what I've found out. If they don't like it, they can delete it. If the person who forwarded it doesn't like it, they can stop forwarding junk to me. :)
