This article sounds like it was written by somebody with a financial interest in Avastin. Drugs status is changed all the time by the FDA. Even the article mentioned it may not be the best drug.
I don’t see the connection to Obama Care.

Avastin is the first medicine to fight cancer by blocking the growth of blood vessels that feed tumors. While Avastin is expensive and may not be the miracle drug some anticipated for breast cancer (it is for other types of cancer) from the success of the early trials, the overwhelming majority of breast cancer specialists believe the drug can be effective and useful in certain patients
I have a relative with cancer who was given 6 months to live in 11/07.
With Avastin, she is still with us and enjoying life.
Obama and the Dems would kill her. We’re all voting GOP this November.

Americans with cancer live much longer than similar victims in other nations. If you knew you could take a drug and perhaps live another year, would you take it? The government will now be making that decision for you.”
My cousin with breast cancer has argued with me forcefully that we need Obamacare so she can afford her cancer meds. Is she in for a surprise.
