Anyone who thinks this was an accident is an utter idiot.
The Russians decapitated Poland on purpose. Now, they must have know Poland wouldn’t toe the Soviet (sorry, Russian) line afterwards, but that wasn’t the point. The point was twofold: (1) Punish Poland for agreeing to the US ABM system (which the obamanation then gutted for the Russians anyway) and (2) make it clear to other former Soviet states that the Bear was back, as in REALY back, and hungry.
Bonus: Eastern Europe got to see how worthless America under obama is as an “ally.”
Frankly, this truth coming out just strengthens Czar Putin’s hand on all of these points.
Too bad we don’t have a President who cares. To be fair, he does have yet another vacation and several golf games to attend to. /spit
President Bush was asked for his evaluation of Putin immediately following their meeting.
Should he called the man the devil at worse, or a scoundrel not to be trusted at the least.
Put on the spot he did what diplomacy dictated.
