What politicians miss is that the tea party participants are the only Constitutionalists in the arena.
That does not say much about the deems pubs.

Isn’t this the same “gutless wonder” who wants everyone to be working until 70 before collecting Social Security?
Just another blowhard politician who likes to hear himself.
Hey Boehner - if you haven’t joined the Tea Party, what makes you think you’re qualified to speak for them?
To: silverleaf
Boehner is gutless as you say. Let us hope that he is not the Speaker in January.

There may come a time when a lot more people are on the streets, protesting the government that is ignoring us.

I must be getting slow.
Took me four minutes to look up that link! (I wonder how long it takes to do it with the Fur Suit on?)
That's why James only rips off videos and never writes anything! He can't type with the furry paws.

The Tea Party movement is forcing politicians to re-evaluate/reaffirm their position relative to their constituents.
Politicians are being pressed to show some solidarity with the people that they represent. Actually, it is something politicians should have been from the beginning of their careers and which they NEVER should have stopped doing
and NOW, solidarity with voters is critical.
Politicians are all being RE INTRODUCED to the idea ‘representation’ and for some more than others, it is as alien a concept now as it ever was.

Politicians are being pressed to show some solidarity with the people that they represent.I agree with that 100%. Politicians are supposed to be the peoples voice (the people they represent) ...
I want my Congressional representative representing ME and my area ... Unfortunately, many things that used to be controlled at state level is now controlled at federal level. - Yes it is important to follow along with your Political parties platform, but ultimately what makes one a good politician is a willingness to work with the people and if that goes against what some people want nationally so be it.
Ex. Scott Brown gets bashed by many here because he isn't "conservative enough" ... Scott Brown represents the people of Mass. and as such tries to listen to his constituents and vote how they would want him to vote. - Not how Freepers in Texas want him to vote.
