It’s encouraging for commonsense conservatives who are frustrated with media cover-ups and biases to see truth revealed.
Remember the infamous “Journolist” – the listserv chat group of hundreds of “prominent” mainstream media personalities? It seems The Daily Caller obtained copies of the Journalist email exchanges from the 2008 campaign having to do with the media’s coverage of Rev. Jeremiah Wright, then candidate Obama’s pastor of 20 years. It’s everything you may have suspected.
This, in the words of one Journolist member:
“I do not endorse a Popular Front, nor do I think you need to. It’s not necessary to jump to Wright-qua-Wright’s defense. What is necessary is to raise the cost on the right of going after the left. In other words, find a rightwinger’s [sic] and smash it through a plate-glass window. Take a snapshot of the bleeding mess and send it out in a Christmas card to let the right know that it needs to live in a state of constant fear. Obviously I mean this rhetorically.
And I think this threads the needle. If the right forces us all to either defend Wright or tear him down, no matter what we choose, we lose the game they’ve put upon us. Instead, take one of them — Fred Barnes, Karl Rove, who cares — and call them racists. Ask: why do they have such a deep-seated problem with a black politician who unites the country? What lurks behind those problems? This makes *them* sputter with rage, which in turn leads to overreaction and self-destruction.”
That’s just one little excerpt. Read the whole thing here . It’s quite an eye-opener. It really says it all – though more will no doubt be revealed in the future, no doubt covering the lamestream media’s coverage of other issues and people. May the light keep shining!

And, yes, I consider entertainment and media as the same industry-- at least that is what they've morphed into. Once upon a time they were separate. The media was required to do a little more factual research than the entertainment industry before they wrote their story. Not anymore.
Last week, I watched the great western classic Santa Fe Trail which might have more been properly titled "The John Brown Story." While there were a lot of facts embellished or even added, it had a far closer tie to reality than modern movies like Titanic or Pearl Harbor, which were basically totally made-up yarns with a few historical facts thrown in as background.

Okay, no that we know their M.O., how will they try to deflect this story. Which right winger will they try to bloody up. They can’t try Palin again and succeed, as her alter ego is Elastigal. They can’t go after the Tea Party, because it has no formal leadership. Hmm...it’s all Michelle Bachmann’s fault! Yeah .. that’s it.
Katha Pollitt – Hayes’s colleague at the Nation – didn’t disagree on principle, though she did sound weary of the propaganda. “I hear you. but I am really tired of defending the indefensible. The people who attacked Clinton on Monica were prissy and ridiculous, but let me tell you it was no fun, as a feminist and a woman, waving aside as politically irrelevant and part of the vast rightwing conspiracy Paula, Monica, Kathleen, Juanita,” Pollitt said.

You make such excellent points and you’re right about the two industries and its combined bent to revise history in film for audiences that have been dumbed down in government schools, with the news media hell bent to create, invent, lie and color current events happening before our very eyes according to its political agenda.
Reagan knew both industries. Sarah sure seems to know both too, and like you said, they’re one in the same.
