I blame Bush for refusing to name the DSA as a terrorist organization soon after the passage of the Patriot Act. I don’t know what our security apparatus is for if not to protect us from ALL enemies — foreign and domestic!

Wouldn't that have been an infringement on the separation of powers? After all, the Congressional Progressive Caucus, set up by Bernie Sanders (Socialist Vt. registered as Independent)in the House is the largest caucus in the House and controls HALF the standing committee chairmanships.

Bernie isn't shy about proclaiming he is a Democratic Socialist. In fact, the DSA hosted the CPC web site until exposed.

Nancy Pelosi was a member until she resigned all committees and caucuses to take up the Chairmanship. No wonder she gets along with the President so well.
