Perhaps the moment has so many parallels with our countries beginning. A shaky start by a dedicated few who hold the meaning deeply and reverently in their hearts. As others find their voices, the country gained strength of purpose and cause. Fathers, by example, leading their sons to give of themselves in cause larger than themselves and greater than that single moment. All concluding in a unified understanding, that at that moment, twenty thousand people feel and value the sacrifice made by a land of the free and the home of the brave! Twenty thousand people uniquely and unified as Americans at a single moment in time who would not be moved at such a moment.
Oh, thus be it ever when free men shall stand Between their loved homes and the war's desolation! Blest with vict'ry and peace, may the heav'n rescued land Praise the Pow'r that hath made and preserved us a nation! Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just, And this be our motto, "In God is our trust" And the Star-Spangled Banner in triumph shall wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
