Perhaps its just time for the people and states to withdraw their consent as in Just Say No!
Apparently they had that opportunity and they wouldn’t sign the petition.
Maybe they thought it was doomed to fail, as all these bills will fail. Federal law trumps state law in matters such as this.
This law needs to be repealed on the federal level or be found unconstitutional or something.
But nice as the gestures are in state after state, they won’t stave off zerocare, finance reform or any of the other federal mandates.
And who is really going to fight this on a personal level? When you are standing in your Dr.’s office and they inform you that you MUST allow them to copy your ID or that you MUST allow them to do a BMI or that your bank MUST report your credit card transactions...who is going to fight and say NO?
