Sure he does. They’re literally window dressing. They would be useless, were they not used as a backdrop. Consider that you saw quite a number of these “ornaments” at the back of the stage during the “Million Man March”.
As to the style of the uniforms, they’re definitely operatic (and comedic at that). Most African dictators don’t dress their “heat” up to this extent.
As to where they got started with this silliness, it leaves the impression that their movement is living out a short man’s complex. Was Malcolm X a short person?
