American Thinker? Not a clear thought anywhere.

"Why not Romney? Bruce Walker
As unlikely as it seemed several months ago, it seems increasingly likely that Mitt Romney
should win the Republican primary and win the general election.
Mitt Romney may be the last best hope of conservatives.
Is Mitt a Fiscal Conservative?
Mitt RomneyYes, he is ... (lie lie lie)."

"Romney praises Obama
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney praised President Obama
at a GOP fundraising dinner Wednesday ..
"I also think it's important for us to nod to the president when he's right," Romney said....
Romney, who spoke at a dinner for the National Republican Senatorial Committee,
said he's pleased with the president's plans to "finish the job" in Iraq and Afghanistan
-- lines that drew applause from the partisan audience. He also applauded the president
for standing up to the auto industry.
"I hope he continues to be tough ....The former businessman even offered faint praise for
Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, saying that after a series of initial missteps,
"I think he's finally getting close to the right answer."

Well he may be cool ,but he has shown himself to be very vulnerable to criticism. The republicans should hit prod him on his weaknesses,Teleprompter,Stuttering, same old Platitudes. This guy is wide open to get hammered on the MESS he claims someone else created,of course that presupposes that we have an educated and intelligent opposition ,which we dont

Bruce Walker, let me give you a clue: People are not bored. Instead, they see incompetence and they hear lies.

The writer's point is a good one, because Obama won entirely because the Chris Matthews media contingent values the silliest “celebrity” novelty above all in politics. Matthews is grinning and chuckling when he talks about all these old-time pols who did the deals in the back rooms—he LOVES the exact stuff that is what's wrong with our political class.

We value politicians who have lives and see government as a necessary evil—we'd prefer people who get together briefly once or twice a year, do the least to maintain the very limited things a government created under our constitution SHOULD be doing, and then rush back to their REAL jobs and lives.

Chrissy and the dems love the hanging out with celebs and making millions like the Clintons, and value Billy's aw-shucks grin over integrity. They LOVE all that silly crap.

So being bored with Obama is a terrific indicator of his level of popularity with the boobs who convinced other boobs to put him in power.

They cannot hide evil, hunger and joblessness... this is not like other times that Americans alive today have ever seen... you had better get into the war mindset and stop with the normal political citique.

Boring Barry is just another shallow idiot in love with socialism who likes to hear his voice,it’s the first time in his life someone listens to him without getting slapped around.

Great points from the article:

Obama seeks nothing more ordinary than an acceleration of Fabian Socialism long after most socialists had given up on their hoary doctrine. He has all the originality of a Young Communist reciting a lecture on the brilliance of Lenin to his fellow communists. He has all the glamour of Brezhnev reading the next Five-Year Plan to the Central Committee of the Communist Party. He has all the stirring insight of aging leftists in Hollywood pontificating about the evil of the land they choose to live and to prosper in.

The worst curse in modern politics is the yawns of voters. When no one wants to watch you, when no one really listens to you, and when most people do not even bother to dislike you anymore, then you (and your party) face a case of slow, terminal consumption. Obama is a fast-fading comet, and his party, having foolishly linked its fate to such an anachronism, may face with him extinction. Barry is becoming boring.
