Weekend Body Count from Progressive Utopia

This is what decades of iron fisted liberal dominance creates: twelve people shot on Chicago’s South Side; 2 are dead.

This is the net result of liberal policies–how’s all that gun control working out?

Following the Supreme Court’s upholding of the 2d Amendment, which the fish wrap media erroneously reported as extendinggun laws which should enable private citizen, Otis McDonald to at last purchase a hand gun to keep in his home. McDonald has grown weary of the constant threats, harassment and break ins that too many Americans suffer in gang infested neighborhoods. He rightly sought to buy himself a handgun, a perfectly reasonable thing to do in America; but was blocked by Daley’s Chicago.

Heir to the original Richard J. Daley throne, the current Daley-in-Chief is wasting no time devising schemes to circumvent the 2d Amendment by making the process of buying a gun so burdensome via bureaucratic nonsense that he hopes to nullify the Court’s ruling entirely.

Daley and the Chicago City Council are poster children for the definition of insanity: "Doing the same thing over and over with the hope of achieving a different result."

This just goes to reinforce how utterly evil* those who claim to be the elites of our society really are.

*I was going to use the word "mindless", but "evil" is far more fitting.

Why are there gang-infested neighborhoods?

Bad government run schools, enough welfare to kill off ambition, high taxes and regulations that kill off employment, etc.

None of which will be fixed by the Democrats.

I applied for a business license in Chicago a few years ago. I was asked how my company contributed to slavery. We set up the company in another state.

And yet, he and his rubber stamps on the city council keep getting re-elected. The must be an idiot factory running overtime in Chicago that produces Chicago voters.

Too many Chicagoans have their fingers in the pie. Too many are beholden to city government. Too many are on the dole with no use for good government. And the list goes on...

Being a typical leftist thug, Daley is completely unconcerned with the actual CRIMINALS who have guns. The south and west are the black areas of Chicago and they boast the vast majority of shootings/killings. But you won’t see the mayor launch any police sweeps of those areas, checking for guns in cars, apartments, houses and the like. After all, these are his voters! So Shortshanks renders law abiding Chicagoans defenseless (while he is protected 24/7 by armed guards) and proclaims himself the savior of the people.

Too many Chicagoans have their fingers in the pie...

Then maybe Chicagoans are getting what they deserve in terms of government - a corrupt little tyranny. The honest ones can always move if it gets bad enough.

There you go. Unfortunately, it affects the balance of the state, which, for the most part, is more centrist-right politically.
