If Kagen doesn't believe in Inherent Rights, we're all in big trouble!
The Jazz Patriot ^ | July 4, 2010 | Tom Wholley

This week I believe we witnessed an incredible and frightening event in our nations capital when President Obama’s nominee for the United States Supreme Court, Elena Kagen, stated emphatically that she didn’t believe in rights that are inherent to us. Denying natural rights and natural law during a week leading up to the day in which we celebrate the signing of the Declaration of Independence strikes me as a distortion of the deeply held religious beliefs of the signers of this sacred document which clearly states “we are endowed by our creator with inalienable rights, including life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. It also strikes me as a betrayal of their intentions which obviously was that they and succeeding generations would be able to live in the freedom our creator intended for us. And if Elena Kagen doesn't believe in that, i.e. liberty for all, then I'm here to tell you we're in serious trouble as a nation and as individuals.

What do you mean? Stevens considers himself a Conservative, according to some of his interviews.(ha ha) I find it hard to believe that the four of them would dismiss the Declaration of Independence as Kagan is ready to do. Maybe I’m wrong but I find her appointment much more alarming than simply replacing Stevens with another liberal. Atleast Stevens was an experienced judge. Kagan will be a rubber stamp for Obama’s hate filled agenda and a monkey wrench for the Robert’s court that Obama obviously detests

Stevens voted with the other socialist/activist judges on the court nearly every time, so there'll be little if any practical difference between him and Kagan. Just pray the four court conservatives and one moderate make it through the Hussein regime.

Yes, of course, and my concerns for putting Kagen on the court when I wrote this article had more to do with the future than seeing any immediate change. I guess Ginsburg will probably be next to go which wouldn’t change things either unless Obama only has a one term presidency which I think is highly probable. But then again Obama will probably try to figure out a way to cancel elections before that happens. Oh well...enjoy the rest of your holiday weekend...Tom

We were in trouble the day Obama walked into the Oval office.

We were in trouble the day Woodrow Wilson walked into office.

We're just in more trouble now because the Progressives 'plan worked.
