Has the fearless leader told the EPA to loosen their oily discharge specs yet ?

When will he meet with the doers instead of the DC gang like the other week with BP, how much of use came out of that gathering ? Not much I bet.

EPA and Goober could probably relax the "oil discharge rules" but a bunch of enviro people in Portland managed to get a federal judge into the business of dictating rule changes to EPA.

First, he issued an injunction prohibiting all discharges of any kind from a vessel unless there was a permit to do so. This was to prevent them from pumping bilge water into US territorial waters lest it contain invasive species.

He also dictated to EPA that it write up some rules for issuing permits for pumping bilge, etc.

What this one judge did (with the connivance with several of the West Coasts most dangerous enviro groups (one of which I believe is actually the home of the Earth First crowd who commit arson and blow up bombs to make their point) and (with the connivance of Illinois, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and New York ~ too cowardly to sue the US in the Supreme Court) was to PREVENT the use of the best technology available to clean up the world's largest oil spill.

Obama will need to IGNORE the injunction to authorize the use of The Whale and other vessels of its type. The Jones Act (which Goober probably thinks has something to do with the size of his penis) is a trivial issue, but these federal court injunctions cause creative havoc ~ particularly for this regime. After all, he's appointed a whole host of enviro people and lawyers so he doesn't really have anyone who wants to go to court and challenge this injunction.

He doesn't have anybody at EPA who wants to write the rules the judge called for, but they could be whipped up in an hour (I could still do such things ~ just give me one of their specialists for the "words"), and be promulgated in 10 days.

I want $1 million in small bills for doing that job, and a free passport of course.
