This Venice LA local has been granted full security clearance... has seen the disaster from every possible angle and is NOT impressed.
Hear the horrors of the front lines and behind scenes workings of the BP Gulf Oil Spill Catastrophe.

That may be true.
It may also be true that this woman is normally an avid 'environmental whacko'.
But I suspect she is telling the truth.
The Earth always recovers. It has a nothing but time on it's hands to do so.
We humans are not as hardy or long-lived. Neither are our food sources.
She has witnessed problems for both, and they will not get better quickly.
She is totally and factually, correct.
Let’s do an experiment, let’s let BP dump several hundreds of gallons of oil in your backyard and then leave it there 60 days and then let’s interview you about it. How much you want to bet there are some people who will say that you sound like some “lefty/environmental whacko”?
You couldn’t evacquate 20 million even if you wanted to. No place to take them, not enough transportation, etc. I saw the impact of Rita and trying to move Houston’s population and it was total gridlock from the gulf coast to North Texas.
Get a grip. Did you read the part about my wanting to see everything possible done? Did you know that I personally submitted a design to try to contain the flow at the wellhead? In my experience, the leftists tend to quickly form “committees” that gather support for a given cause then subvert the cause for their own purposes. I’d like to suggest that you vet the leadership to see if in fact this might be the case. BTW, I have family in Louisiana, so I do have a stake in this.
Toxic disaster, 200mi radius, 20M evacuated, martial law declared.....can those people still vote in an election? Obama picks up 20M “lead” this way, huh?
If we get any truth out of this mess it is more than likely going to come from people like Kindra Arnesen that from anyone from BP or the ‘Gubberment’.
Funny much of what you are saying was exactly what was said about the Tea Party People.
No it's not.
The tea party movement was never perceived as "lefty/environmental whacko. I was in DC for the first tea party rally. That kind of makes me an original member of the movement. Trust me on this; people need to get up in arms over the oil leak. We need to be careful that the effort does not play into the hands of the left. It must not become a right-left issue. I'm just saying that before you jump into any organization, know what you're getting into.
IF THERE'S ANYBODY OUT THERE WHO CAN POST THE IMAGES ON THE PICASSA WEB ALBUM HERE, IT WOULD BE HELPFUL. Hint: You'll see Mao's picture.
There is a conspiracy theory about everything in this age. Left, right; all seem to have the same loony ideas.
Some unseen force is out to get us
Conspiracy theories are fun for entertainment purposes.
But the real damage is the loss of critical thinking skills. Also when actual really harmful events are going on; they are allowed to fly under the radar.
All on here need to read post 85 on this thread:

I think I see a way for Obama to declare a national emergency and suspend the next election.
Thanks for the link....
That’s nuts.
I think I see a way for Obama to declare a national emergency and suspend the next election. You are correct, so we must, if we believe in Christ, all pray that does not happen.
