Hey!
What’d I miss? No cell phone (for the most part), no radio(except rap and country music - no talk radio!), and NO INTERNET!! I feel as if I’ve fallen asleep and lost a week of time!
Freerepublic did some work on servers I do believe and it was all slow after that...how were things?
Wow, what a beautiful place Sullivan County is! The scenery there is spectacular, and it’s just down-home-America.
But, there is NOTHING to do! It’s in the middle of nowhere. We visited my sister one day, my uncle the next day and good friends yesterday. Went to a firemans day parade in Tunkhannock, Pa. Put a lot of mileage on son’s car. He was an angel to let us use it. But glad to be home. It took a lot out of Mr s. though.
Now, what’s going on with you and your family? Sounds like you’ve had your trials lately as well!
Just another week....Glad you had a good time you guys needed it...
How are you and Mr.S? Everything go OK? RAIN? There was a lot here!
Any pics? Did you both get over the accident OK?

Hey there!
We got some great pics. What a beautiful place! I’m still a bit sore from the accident but good overall. Mr S is fine too. The trip was hard on him. He needed to come home to get some rest! We got one good rain storm while there. Took our laptops and watched a movie that day. I downloaded Coast to Coast. We get a lot of kicks from that program! Fun to listen to while sitting around the campfire!
When we got home, I returned a call to the insurance company. They declared the truck totaled. We got WAY more for it than I thought we would. Enough to pay it off and a decent amount left over for a down payment on another vehicle. We’re looking for a good used vehicle - either an SUV or Minivan - in the $15,000 to $20,000 range. 4wd and hoping for good mpg, of course. Something with 35,000 or less miles. I’ll be looking for the wisdom and advice of you guys on the Q&R list!
I hate car shopping.
