How many states FORCE kids to take happy pills? I know there are alot of stupid parents that give them to their children.

Every state forces children to take psychotropics on the word of public school teachers and counselors. I have friends who were blackmailed by the school system into putting their child on Ritalin. Numerous FReepers have related the same experiences with their schools.

It should be alarming that prescriptions for psychotropics to children increased 800% between 1990 and 2000 and rather obvious that the state is behind that. I haven't seen statistics for the last ten years but I would be surprised if it hasn't increased even more.
