I love sugary cerals, even as an adult. I do a lot of cycling, weight lifting, snowboarding, hockey, lacrosse, BMXing, mountain biking and martial arts and I can’t get enough carbs to save my life. Whenever before I have a long 20 mile bike ride from my house to the future Mrs. N*SC’s house, I’m always eating a loaf of bread’s worth of PB and J and I’m always hungry after the ride. And that’s BEFORE taekwondo practice. After practice, I’m bushed, except when I eat another box of sugary ceral before class for the ride home. Whenever I have to do an extra long bike ride before I lift weights or when I play a pickup game of hockey, I always make sure to eat a box of generic Froot Loops with soy milk and a jar of peanut butter for protein. That way, I never get hungry until after my workout or game.
