This will get things off to a great start.
Write some meaningless drivel, with a good headline. Then post the headline and one sentence from the drivel on FR, with a link back to (ready?) your blog!
Or, you could get some public domain YouTube videos and write headlines for them and embed them on (still ready?) your blog! Post the headlines on FR with a link to (you’re still with me, right?) YOUR BLOG!
All the FReepers who click on your links will be so grateful! And you can make extra cash by loading up on adware and other cool stuff! (FReepers love pop-ups especially.)
Find a niche, too - something no one else is doing, like ..... I’ve got it! - Pit Bull Attacks! You could make your blog a clearinghouse for all the stories involving violent pet behavior. You might even get some big organization like PETA to back you for a grant or something.

While posting this afternoon, I heard the irresistible siren of song of heavy metal thunder idling in the lane.
Stopped posting, slid into some leather and spent a *glorious* day ripping around the back roads to Burkittsville [yeah, the “Blair Witch” town] and got some good IR/UV shots I’m post-processing tonight.
